Being the reigning Heisman Trophy winner has its perks.
Former Alabama RB Derrick Henry will find out his NFL future at next week’s NFL Draft, but for now he’s fulfilling a lifelong dream.
On Saturday afternoon, Henry made his first visit to Yankee Stadium to see the New York Yankees take on the Tampa Bay Rays.
Henry, who said he grew up a Yankees fan, said being at the stadium for the first time was a surreal experience during an interview with the television broadcast:
Oh hey @KingHenry_2 ?? you're welcome back here anytime! pic.twitter.com/JAC2xqpMhd

Even the MLB’s official twitter account made mention of his appearance:

The Yankees won the game 3-2, meaning that Henry should have nothing but fond memories of this day.
He tweeted earlier in the day that he was in town for an appearance at a GT Sports Marketing event.
