NFL superstars Patrick Mahomes, Davante Adams react to DeVonta Smith’s incredible title game performance

Heisman winner DeVonta Smith is having an incredible night against Ohio State in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
Though the Alabama star has missed most of the third quarter thus far with a hand/finger injury, he had 12 catches for 215 yards and 3 touchdowns in the first half.
That caught the eye of a pair of NFL superstars. As you can see below, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes wondered why the Buckeyes weren’t giving him more attention:
Lol they just need to put like everybody on him

Meanwhile, Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams, who some consider to be the best current receiver in the NFL, said he’d be OK with people misspelling his name “DeVonta”:
From now on if u misspell my name make sure it’s Devonta cuz he that boy.

Smith’s former Alabama teammate, Jerry Jeudy, who was the first-round pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft, also shared his lofty praise for the Heisman winner:
Greatest WR to play college football @DeVontaSmith_6

Alabama currently holds a 38-24 lead over Ohio State. Can the Tide hang on? We’ll find out over the next quarter and a half!
