Our Week 4 CFB Picks
Andrew Olson
Garrett Nussmeier, LSU QB: Higher than 294.5 pass yards
Nussmeier has 895 passing yards through 3 games (298.3 per game), including a meeting with a USC team just outside the top 10 and at South Carolina, a hostile environment. Considering LSU’s talent advantage, I have a hard time seeing the UCLA defense slowing down the Tiger passing attack.
Chimere Dike, Florida WR: Higher than 42.5 receiving yards
Dike has chemistry with Graham Mertz from their days at Wisconsin. Florida’s receiver room is dealing with multiple injuries, including Eugene “Tre” Wilson III. I like Mertz to look Dike’s way often on Saturday. DJ Lagway would be wise to look for the speedster, too.
Nay’Quan Wright, USF RB: Higher than 51.5 rush yards
Wright is coming off back-to-back strong performances. He logged 11 carries for 64 yards on the road at Alabama in Week 2 and followed that up with 15 carries for 105 yards at Southern Miss. A Miami native, Wright will be running extra hard against the hometown Hurricanes.

Ja’Quinden Jackson, Arkansas RB: Higher than 88.5 rush yards
Jackson has quickly become one of the most exciting players in the SEC. He currently leads the league in rush yards and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. Auburn has a middle-of-the-road run defense in the SEC, allowing 97 yards per game on the ground. I like Jackson to get close to 100 yards on Saturday afternoon.
Cam Skattebo, Arizona State RB: Lower than 91.5 rush yards
Skattebo had a virtuoso 262-yard performance against Mississippi State, but hasn’t come close to 100 rush yards in either of Arizona State’s other games. On the road in Big 12 play at Texas Tech, I’ll take the Sun Devils’ star back to finish with 91 or fewer yards on the ground.
Theo Wease Jr., Mizzou WR: Higher than 4.5 receptions
Wease is a guy who makes the most of his targets. He got 14 targets in Week 2 and made 13 catches. In Week 3 he caught 5 of his 6 targets. With Vanderbilt likely selling out to try to contain Luther Burden III, I like Wease to post at least 5 more catches this weekend.
Our Week 3 NFL Picks
Andrew Olson
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs TE: Higher than 48.5 receiving yards
The most famous boyfriend in the world is due for a big game after a slow start. Tight ends have done well so far against the Falcons, and the Chiefs should be passing more with Isiah Pacheco sidelined.
Brandon Aubrey, Dallas Cowboys K: Higher than 1.5 field goals made
With the way the Baltimore defense has been playing, I’m expecting plenty of scoring action in this game. With Aubrey’s amazing leg, I like his chances of getting 2 field goals.
Adam Spencer
Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings QB: Higher than 231.5 pass yards
The Vikings play the Texans on Sunday in a matchup of 2-0 teams. Minnesota is a big surprise through 2 weeks of the season, and Darnold is a big reason why. I expect him to have to throw early and often to keep pace with CJ Stroud and the Houston offense. Take him to finish with 232+ yards through the air.
Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders WR: Higher than 62.5 receiving yards
The Raiders are 1-1 this year and there’s a case to be made they really should be 2-0. This week, they get to face the abysmal Carolina Panthers. The Panthers can’t seem to do anything right this season, so I’m taking Davante Adams to have a big game, finishing with at least 63 yards (though I expect him to be closer to 100 yards).
