Diego Pavia gave a very candid postgame interview after Vanderbilt’s 40-35 win over Alabama, and it included some choice words.
The Commodores quarterback took to social media on Sunday to apologize for some of the expletives he used, clearly having been on an emotional high after such a thrilling victory.
Here’s the message Pavia shared:
I’m sorry for cussing last night but, God you are the TRUTH AND ALL THE GLORY GOES TO YOU!! For yall that don’t know him, get to know him. HE IS MAGICAL‼️

“It’s all in God’s timing literally from the jump,” Pavia had said after the game. “God gave me a vision when I was a little kid. … I’m super thankful. …Vandy were (f-word) turnt.”
In a somewhat controversial move, Pavia and the Commodores remained unranked when the AP Top 25 poll was released on Sunday. Vanderbilt did receive 26 votes, but the win over America’s best college football team was still somehow not enough to push them into the 25 top spots.
That could change, though, depending on how Vanderbilt performs when it faces the Kentucky Wildcats up next on the schedule in Lexington at 7:45 p.m. ET.
