DJ Dale is well aware of the restaurant selection in New Orleans, and the Sugar Bowl this week gives him a chance to sample some of the best food in the world.
Dale was asked if he will experience what New Orleans has to offer ahead of the Kansas State game.
“Definitely the food, that’s my favorite thing about New Orleans,” he said. “But I can’t go too crazy before the game, I don’t want to put on any weight. But the food and maybe catch a basketball game or something and enjoy this beautiful city with some of my teammates. … I’m not overweight or nothing, so I don’t really have those issues, but you know, New Orleans, you get a different type of appetite when you come here, so you just gotta be careful.”
Alabama and Kansas State are set for an 11 a.m. local time kickoff on ESPN on Saturday.
