The Denver Broncos’ third victory in their last four games, second-year quarterback Drew Lock threw a game-winning touchdown pass to rookie K.J. Hamler as time expired to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers, 31-30, on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High.

Trailing, 24-3, midway through the third quarter, Lock finished the game 26-of-41 for 248 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
All three of his touchdown passes came in the fourth quarter, making him the first Broncos quarterback since Tennessee Volunteers legend Peyton Manning in 2013 to accomplish the feat.

Lock had a standout career in Columbia for the Missouri Tigers, throwing for 12,193 yards and 99 touchdowns, both of which are the second-best totals in program history, behind only Chase Daniel.
Improving to 3-4, Denver will hit the road to battle the Atlanta Falcons on November 8 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the site of the SEC Championship Game.
