Drone footage shows incredible gameday atmosphere in Tuscaloosa ahead of Alabama-Texas
The SEC Network posted some incredible drone footage from Alabama on social media Saturday morning. The footage gives the viewer point-of-view access as it travels around Tuscaloosa and Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The video starts by following Big Al, the Alabama mascot, while “Sweet Home Alabama” is playing. Big Al leads us to sorority row, where we are greeted with a dance number. After that, the drone flies to the backside of the building where a large contingent of students and fans are cheering and holding signs.

Finally, the video takes us on a tour of Alabama’s impressive locker room before running out of the tunnel and onto the field.
This video, of course, was released in anticipation of the matchup between No. 11 Texas and No. 3 Alabama set to kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Tide are looking to build off an impressive Week 1 performance and earn a quality win against a ranked foe. The Longhorns, meanwhile, are looking to cement their place among the rankings and earn a signature win in Tuscaloosa.
