A drunk LSU fan who was taken from Saturday’s game to a local hospital is being accused of assaulting three emergency medical service workers after becoming “irate,” authorities told The Advocate Monday.
Michael Curry, 20, allegedly punched and kicked an EMS worker in the parking lot of Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center, according to booking records.
Curry also reportedly struck a female EMS worker when asked for a urine sample, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s deputies claimed in his arrest report. He allegedly used a closed fist to strike the woman in the back of the head several times and also shoved and punched another female EMS worker when she tried to intervene, police told The Advocate.
According to records, the 20-year-old Mandeville native was taken to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and booked on a count of battery of emergency room personnel.
