After a historic 2019 season culminating in a College Football Playoff National Championship, LSU limped its way to a forgettable 5-5 record in 2020.
Not every Tiger has forgotten the struggles of last year, however.
Safety Todd Harris Jr. said communication was a big issue in 2020, adding that there were sometimes multiple players running different plays on that side of the ball:

LSU senior offensive guard Ed Ingram also made headlines on Tuesday when the DeSoto, Texas, native pointed upward to place the responsibility of a down 2020 season on what he viewed as leadership flaws. “We had no leadership last year,” said Ingram. “This year, we have a ton of leadership.”
“We’re tired of losing.”

Ingram has played in 34 career games on the LSU offensive line while starting 24 of those. He and fellow standout lineman Austin Deculus are set to anchor the Bayou Bengals’ O-Line this season.
Harris Jr. figures to play a prominent role in the safety spot at the back of the revamped LSU defense.
