If you thought there would be a hangover from LSU coming off the team’s first loss of the season, you couldn’t have been more wrong.

Instead of coming out slow against Georgia, the Tigers have jumped all over the Bulldogs. If you didn’t know any better, you would think the team ranked No. 2 in the nation in this matchup was LSU, not Georgia. Dave Aranda’s defense has smothered Georgia’s offense in the first half, leading to the first-half shutout of the Dawgs.

Jake Fromm has been held to five of 16 through the air for only 47 yards in the first half. Georgia has 124 yards of offense at the half, while LSU has racked up 247 yards of total offense.

Before heading into the locker room for the half, Ed Orgeron caught up with CBS to discuss his team’s huge first-half showing in Baton Rouge.
