LSU QB Myles Brennan missed Saturday’s big win over South Carolina due to a severe leg injury.
His timetable for return is not known at this point, but it doesn’t seem as though he’ll be back in action this weekend against Auburn.
On Wednesday evening, coach Ed Orgeron provided a potential timetable for Brennan’s return, saying he hopes to have the starter back and 100% healthy for the Alabama game:
Ed Orgeron says he hopes that Myles Brennan will be back for the Alabama game. Says, as he’s said before, that he won’t play him unless he’s 100% ready. #LSU

LSU plays Auburn this weekend, then has an open date on Nov. 7. The Alabama game is scheduled for Nov. 14, so that gives Brennan some time to heal.
For now, though, TJ Finley gets another chance to impress against an Auburn team that has been inconsistent this year.
