Ed Orgeron reacts to Marco Wilson’s shoe-throwing incident that helped LSU beat Florida

The Florida-LSU game on Saturday night hinged on, of all things, a thrown shoe.
LSU had a late fourth-quarter drive extended after Florida DB Marco Wilson picked up TE Kole Taylor’s cleat and chucked it down the field, drawing a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct.
After the game, LSU coach Ed Orgeron was all smiles, cracking jokes about the incident, as you can see below:

“I don’t think I’ve ever been in a game where an opponent threw a shoe,” Coach O says. “I think it was a great job by (LSU equipment director Greg) Stringfellow of loosening up the shoe before the play. I just saw 3 flags on the ground, and I was happy.”
Cade York hit a 57-yard field goal on the drive and LSU held on for a 37-34 win on a foggy night in The Swamp. This is a game that will be talked about for a long time in the history of this rivalry.
