LSU coach Ed Orgeron is growing increasingly frustrated with his team.
The Tigers were already trailing 13-0 when quarterback TJ Finley threw a terrible pick-6 to put the Aggies up 20-0 in the third quarter.
Orgeron responded with a familiar coaching technique:

Here’s the play that earned Finley that discussion:

Finley was replaced by backup Max Johnson on LSU’s next drive, but the results weren’t much better.
LSU’s offensive numbers through three quarters are atrocious. The Tigers are averaging a stunning .9 yards per rush and only 4.9 yards per pass attempt.
Finley is 9-of-25 for 118 yards and two interceptions. John Emery Jr. is LSU’s leading rusher with 13 yards on four attempts. Tyrion Davis-Price has nine yards on nine carries.
Defensively, LSU hasn’t been able to stop Texas A&M running back Isaiah Spiller. Through three quarters, he carried the ball 20 times for 127 yards and a touchdown. On the bright side for LSU, Kellen Mond is 11-of-32 to this point in the game.
If Texas A&M holds on, it will be the Aggies’ second win over LSU since they joined the SEC.
