Eli Drinkwitz provides injury update on Mizzou WRs Jay Maclin, Mookie Cooper
The Missouri Tigers open up the 2021 season with Central Michigan on Saturday.
However, they could be without wide receivers Ja’Mori Maclin and Mookie Cooper, it seems.
On Tuesday during his weekly press conference, coach Eli Drinkwitz revealed that Maclin is out and Cooper is questionable, but added that an official injury report will come out on Thursday:
Drinkwitz says Mookie Cooper is questionable for Saturdays game. Jay Maclin is out. An official injury report will come out on Thursday.

Cooper is a redshirt freshman that the Tigers acquired from Ohio State via the transfer portal. Cooper did not catch a pass during his time in Columbus.
Cooper suffered a lower leg injury recently in camp.
Maclin is also a redshirt freshman for the Tigers. He suffered a broken foreman at practice earlier this August.
