Former Ole Miss quarterback Eli Manning can add another Hall of Fame spot to his many accolades.

The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame announced on Wednesday that Manning will join 7 others in the 2024 class. Manning joined fellow former Rebels athlete Savante Stringfellow as the only 2 Ole Miss alumni in next year’s class, to be inducted in August 2024.

Manning shined at Ole Miss with school career records of 10,119 passing yards and 81 passing TDs between 1999 and 2003. The New York Giants drafted Manning with the No. 1 pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, and he went on to have a stellar career with 2 Super Bowl wins against Tom Brady-led New England Patriots squads.

This doesn’t mark the first Hall of Fame for Manning. He already made the Cotton Bowl Classic Hall of Fame and the Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame, where he grew up.

Manning also had his jersey retired by both Ole Miss and the Giants, the only NFL team he ever played for from 2004 to 2019. The Giants also have Manning in the Ring of Honor at MetLife Stadium.

Whether or not Manning’s post-career destinations include the Pro Football Hall of Fame remains to be seen. Manning becomes eligible for the hall in Canton, Ohio, in 2024.
