Elijah Robinson has handed out a promotion in his first week as Texas A&M’s interim head coach.
Robinson, Texas A&M’s defensive line coach, was given the interim job after Jimbo Fisher was fired on Sunday. On Tuesday, he promoted a coach on his staff.
Robinson announced Monday that Tony Jerod-Eddie, a defensive analyst for the Aggies, was promoted to a full-time role. Robinson spoke to his leadership and dedication to Texas A&M during a team meeting on Monday.
“This guy’s a great example of brotherhood,” Robinson said. “I think he’ll do whatever for any of you guys because he’s an Aggie. I want you guys to celebrate Coach Tony Jerod-Eddie as being a full-time coach.”
