With Clemson currently operating as a recruiting machine and South Carolina hiring an entire staff full of elite recruiters, the battle within the Palmetto State looks to have only just begun for 2018 recruit Dakereon Joyner. However, if Joyner decides to leave his home state, he looks to have plenty of excellent offers to chose from between now and signing day of 2018.
While that date is way off into the future, the following 10 teams – including SEC schools Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and Auburn – have begun to stand out to what could be the nation’s top athlete prospect in 2018:

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Joyner is currently rated as an early four-star prospect and the No. 6 recruit from the state of South Carolina according to 247Sports. Aside from the schools listed above, Joyner has also gained the attention of Ohio State, Florida State, Oregon and Louisville on the recruiting trail.
During his sophomore season, the North Charleston, SC., prospect helped lead Fort Dorchester to the state title at quarterback after throwing for 3,202 yards, 33 passing touchdowns, 1,058 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns last season.
Joyner will obviously need to bulk up to succeed at the next level but his tremendous deep ball accuracy is off the charts and he has incredibly open field moves. Don’t be surprised to see Joyner skyrocket up the recruiting ranks by the end of his high school career, as the scholarship offers continue to pile in for this South Carolina native.
