Auburn has made the Top 3 cut for elite class of 2019 quarterback Bo Nix.
Nix, a Pinson, Ala. native (Pinson Valley High School), is a high 4-star, dual-threat QB prospect.
He’s listed as the nation’s No. 2 dual-threat QB and is the No. 3 overall prospect in the state of Alabama. He’s also rated as the No. 57 prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Nix posted his Top 3 on his Twitter account Monday night.
It included Auburn, as well as Clemson and Ohio State.
Besides those schools, the 6-foot-1, 194-pound QB has offers from Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma. One could say he’s highly sought after.
Currently, Auburn only has one committed prospect in its 2019 class. George Pickens, a 4-star wide receiver, pledged to the Tigers on July 21.
It would be nice for him to have a quarterback. Maybe Auburn can make it happen.
