Erik Ainge regret? Georgia fans unload on former Tennessee QB as Vols hear deafening crowd at Sanford Stadium

Erik Ainge got the Georgia fan base fired up earlier in the week with a tweet that said Sanford Stadium isn’t what it’s cracked up to be in terms of noise. The former Tennessee QB quickly heard about it from Georgia fans.
“Playing between the hedges is overrated. Not that loud and definitely not intimidating. It’s nothing like playing in Neyland. Vols will be just fine in Athens!”
Even with much of the fourth quarter to play, Georgia fans swarmed to Ainge on Twitter, and the original tweet had more than 400 retweets, 650 quote tweets and more than 4,000 likes.
Tennessee had a slew of false starts and sacks allowed, thanks in part to the crowd noise.
