Thursday night on the Paul Finebaum Show, ESPN “Football Scientist” KC Joyner joined as a guest to list his 11 “legitimate” college football national title contenders for the upcoming 2016 season, based off his unique analytical approach.
It comes to no surprise that three of those 11 teams hail from the SEC — a conference that has claimed eight of the last 10 championships. According to Joyner, Alabama, LSU, and Tennessee will all have an excellent shot this year.

We’ve still got five months before summer workouts even begin, but this seems like a solid preview of which SEC teams will be representing as powers this fall.
