SEC teams will soon know their full schedules for next season.
The “2024 SEC Football Schedule Reveal” will air live on ESPN and the SEC Network on Dec. 13, starting at 7 p.m. ET. Laura Rutledge will host alongside ESPN college football commentators Joey Galloway, Greg McElroy and Tim Tebow, with additional perspective from Paul Finebaum and various guests.
Big changes are coming to the SEC next year, as Texas and Oklahoma officially join the league after the conclusion of the 2023-24 spring sports. In football, SEC teams will again play 8 conference games. The conference has not yet announced a scheduling plan for 2025 and beyond.
There will no longer be an SEC East and SEC West starting in the 2024 season. The SEC Championship Game will continue to be held in Atlanta, through 2031 with a potential extension for 2036.
The 2024 SEC schedule preserved high-profile neutral-site games. Oklahoma and Texas will meet at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas for the Red River Rivalry. The Dallas area also hosts the Southwest Classic between Arkansas and Texas A&M. Florida and Georgia will play in Jacksonville in the game formerly known as the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.
