ESPN made amends for fans who were flashed by footage of Bourbon Street in New Orleans during the Sugar Bowl broadcast.
As the game was coming back from a commercial, some B-roll of the crowd on Bourbon Street was shown. On the right side of the video, there was a woman flashing her breast to have some beads thrown at her and a friend. ESPN’s Senior Director of Communications Bill Hofheimer apologized in a statement to the Associated Press.
“We regret that this happened and apologize that the video aired in the telecast,” ESPN’s Bill Hofheimer said in a statement to The Associated Press.

Washington knocked off Texas, 37-31, in a game that went down to the wire. It came down to 1 last heave from Quinn Ewers who looked for Georgia transfer Adonai Mitchell in the end zone, but the pass was knocked away.
ESPN will hope that nothing like this happens during Monday’s national championship between Michigan and Washington.
