College GameDay has apparently bought in on the Jimbo Fisher era in College Station.
The ESPN college football pregame show announced late Saturday night that it plans to be on location for Clemson’s upcoming trip to College Station to face Fisher’s Texas A&M team. Both teams are 1-0 on the season with the Tigers beating Furman 48-7 on Saturday and the Aggies winning 59-7 over Northwestern State on Thursday.
Fisher is no stranger to playing Clemson, as his Florida State teams annually faced Dabo Swinney’s program back in the ACC. Fisher currently has a three-game losing streak going to Swinney but did have a three-game winning streak before his current streak began.
The Texas A&M-Clemson game is scheduled to kick off Saturday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT on ESPN:
