ESPN college football analyst Danny Kanell has finally figured out why the SEC is the most dominant conference in all the land.
Assistant coaches get paid more.
Pay no mind to the fact that eight of the top 20 projected players in the upcoming NFL Draft are from the SEC, according to NFL.com.
Kanell posted this on Twitter today. It’s worth noting that Kanell miscounted the Pac-12, which should have six assistants and not one. Meanwhile, the American Athletic Conference has one (Central Florida’s Brent Key). Those numbers are according to USA Today.
