ESPN’s Football Power Index seems to favor the SEC.

With the College Football Playoff’s top four teams being released on Sunday, the rest of America seemed upset that the SEC got two teams in for the first time.

But according to the FPI, the SEC not only deserves to have two teams in — it has the two best teams in terms of chances to win the national championship.

The FPI listed Alabama as its favorite with a 35 percent chance to win it all. Georgia followed behind with a 24 percent chance to secure a title. The FPI gave Clemson a 23 percent chance and Oklahoma an 18 percent chance.

This certainly doesn’t feel like a down year for the conference.
