With the 2025 NFL Draft complete, fans and media members are starting to take an early look at the 2026 draft class. When looking for the potential No. 1 overall pick, it has become wise to start looking at the quarterback position.

In eight of the last 10 drafts, the first selection has been a quarterback. When looking at the potential QB class for 2026, there is already a lot of chatter about Arch Manning.

Manning is two seasons into his college career. Manning will be eligible to declare early for the 2026 NFL Draft, but a prominent analyst shared Tuesday that he is not doing any prep on the Texas QB.

ESPN’s Matt Miller expects Manning to follow in his uncles’ footsteps and use more than just 3 seasons of eligibility. Miller notes that since Manning redshirted in 2023, he has 3 full seasons of remaining eligibility.

This is likely just the beginning of speculation about Manning’s football future. It could be a long 8 months until he announces his plans for 2026.
