“Until proven otherwise, Alabama’s still No. 1,” said Dinich. “Then I have Georgia and Oregon. No. 4 is where the change happened, Greenie. Penn State deserves that fourth spot because I don’t see anybody else through three weeks that has a road win against a ranked in Wisconsin, and then a huge win against a ranked opponent from the SEC in Auburn. Plus, with their resume, you take the eye test. Not a lot of teams are passing the eye test. They looked like a contender.”
