ESPN releases ‘MegaCast’ lineup including former SEC coach, players for Monday’s National Championship

ESPN will be putting on a full “MegaCast” for Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia.

It will includes the traditional broadcast with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit on the call, in addition to alternate presentations across 10 additional platforms, according to an ESPN MediaZone release.

One of those alternate presentations will be the return of “Coaches Film Room” on ESPNEWS.

Monday’s panel will include Colorado State head coach Mike Bobo, Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald and former Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin.

Additional coaches will be added throughout the weekend, the release stated.

Another portion of the alternate slate will include the “Homers Telecast” on ESPN2, which “provides a conversational, casual, fan-view point call of the game.”

Former Alabama standout defensive back Landon Collins Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray will be analysts on the telecast.
