ESPN’s Brett McMurphy asked all 128 FBS coaches for their favorite musical artists, including all 14 from the SEC. The coaches gave varying answers that included numerous big names of different genres.

Ed Orgeron’s choice of Creedence Clearwater Revival is perhaps the least surprising answer of all. More surprising, however, is Jim McElwain’s favoring of Earth, Wind & Fire.

According to McMurphy, Nick Saban broke his answer down to a final four, like the College Football Playoff. His choices included the Eagles, Michael Jackson, Elton John and the Rolling Stones before naming the “Hotel California” band as his No. 1 favorite.
