Following Week 6 of the college football season, ESPN released an updated ranking of all 14 SEC teams.

The rankings still have Alabama in the top spot, but Texas A&M is closing the gap after a big win against Tennessee on Saturday.

The rankings have the SEC teams in the following order:

  1. Alabama
  2. Texas A&M
  3. Tennessee
  4. Ole Miss
  5. Florida
  6. Arkansas
  7. Auburn
  8. LSU
  9. Georgia
  10. Missouri
  11. Kentucky
  12. Mississippi State
  13. South Carolina
  14. Vanderbilt

The game of the week for Week 7 of SEC action will be Alabama at Tennessee. The Vols will be searching for a signature win against the No. 1 team while Nick Saban and company look to continue taking care of business en route to another potential College Football Playoff berth.
