The 2020 college football season is going to be unique, and crazy things are sure to happen all season long.

However, when it comes to the College Football Playoff, the ESPN College GameDay crew thinks the title game matchup will look pretty familiar.

As you can see below, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and David Pollack all picked their fields of 4 teams and title winners. Everyone had either Clemson or Alabama as their champion:

  • Kirk: Clemson, Alabama, Texas, Florida (Clemson over Alabama for title)
  • Corso: Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma Notre Dame (Alabama wins title)
  • Des: Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Cincinnati (Alabama over Clemson for title)
  • Pollack: Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia (Alabama over Clemson for title)

Cincinnati is an interesting pick for Howard, as that would be the first time a Group of 5 team makes the Playoff. But, hey, anything can happen in 2020!
