Completing 17-21 passes, junior quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw for 293 yards and five touchdowns as the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide raced past Southern Miss, 49-7.

Improving to 4-0 on the season, junior Najee Harris ran for 110 yards and classmate Henry Ruggs III added 148 yards and two scores receiving.

Hosting the Ole Miss Rebels in their second SEC game of the season on Saturday, things will gradually become more difficult for the Tide as we move deeper into conference play.

Still, outside of the November 9 date with the No. 4 LSU Tigers and the November 30 trip to Auburn, there likely aren’t too many one-score games on this schedule.

Headed into Saturday’s matchup with the Rebels, ESPN’s Football Power Index updated Alabama’s game-by-game win probabilities:

  • Sept. 28 vs. Ole Miss (98.1 percent)
  • Oct. 12 at Texas A&M (80.4 percent)
  • Oct. 19 vs. Tennessee (97.5 percent)
  • Oct. 26 vs. Arkansas (99.1 percent)
  • Nov. 9 vs. LSU (75.6 percent)
  • Nov. 16 at Mississippi State (85.3 percent)
  • Nov. 23 vs. Western Carolina (100 percent)
  • Nov. 30 at Auburn (72.3 percent)
