After five weeks of the Southeastern Conference’s league play-only 2020 schedule, only one team, the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide, remains unbeaten.

As we rotate through the members’ bye weeks, we are currently in the light portion of the schedule; October 24 contained only four games, and October 31 and November 7 will, as well.

Despite the slight lull in quantity, ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) released their updated win total projections for each program on Sunday.

Before we dive in, here is a quick reminder of how the FPI is calculated.

“The Football Power Index is a measure of team strength meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward.

“FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 20,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.

“Ratings and projections update daily. FPI data from seasons prior to 2019 may not be complete.”

Sorted from best projected record to worst:

The Week 6 slate of games, which will be held on Saturday, Halloween, feature LSU at Auburn at 3:30 p.m., Ole Miss at Vanderbilt at 4 p.m., Mississippi State at Alabama at 7 p.m., and Arkansas at Texas A&M at 7:30 p.m.

All times Eastern.
