ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) gave its prediction for who will come out on top in Texas A&M and Arkansas’ annual battle at Jerry’s World, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, in Arlington, Texas.

The FPI gives the Aggies a narrow 56.2% chance to win the game and improve to 4-1 on the season, while the Razorbacks would fall to 3-2 with a loss.

Texas A&M has already had an eventful start to its season. The Aggies fell to Notre Dame 23-13 in their season-opener but rebounded nicely with a blowout win over McNeese before going on the road and dismantling Florida to the tune of 33-20.

But, the Aggies struggled against Bowling Green on Saturday, emerging with a 26-20 victory  thanks to over 260 yards of offense and 2 touchdowns from new starting quarterback Marcel Reed, a freshman.

Meanwhile, Sam Pittman managed to cool his hot seat by taking down Auburn in a battle to stay out of the SEC’s cellar Saturday. Taylen Green & Co. manufactured just enough explosive plays to claim a 24-14 win, their first over a Power 4 opponent this season. Arkansas could match its win total from last season with a victory against Texas A&M this week.

The game will take place at 3:30 EST on ESPN.
