ESPN’s Heather Dinich identifies Ohio State’s keys to upsetting Georgia

ESPN’s Heather Dinich pointed out Ohio State’s keys to pulling off the upset over Georgia in the Peach Bowl.

Ohio State is in a position to shock Georgia and win the program’s 1st national championship since 2014. The College Football Playoff Semifinal will be Ohio State’s 1st game in more than 1 month after the Buckeyes lost to Michigan in Week 13.

Even though Ohio State needed help to reach the Playoff, the Buckeyes have a chance to beat Georgia in the Playoff. While appearing on ESPN’s “Get Up,” Dinich outlined Ohio State’s best ways to take down the defending national champions.

“One key is finding a way to slow down Jalen Carter, Georgia’s defensive tackle, who could be so disruptive if he wants to be. He can single-handedly change that game,” Dinich said. “But they also have got to limit the turnovers. You look at that Michigan game, as good as CJ Stroud has been all year two turnovers in that game. He’s only had six all year. They cannot afford to make mistakes. Finally, defensive, they cannot give up big plays. Again, you go back to that Michigan game a play for 75 yards, 45 yards, you cannot do that against this Georgia team. They will take advantage of every mistake and every big play.”

Georgia will face Ohio State in the Peach Bowl on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
