ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit predicts two SEC West teams to make playoff

On ESPN’s “College GameDay” from Columbia, S.C. on Saturday morning, analyst Kirk Herbstreit predicted two SEC West teams will make the College Football Playoff.

Currently, three West teams are ranked in the top six of the Associated Press Top 25.

In a mock bracket on Saturday morning’s show, “GameDay” predicted that Alabama would be the lone team to be selected into the four team playoff. Herbstreit, however, anticipated chaos in the Playoff’s inaugural year by two teams from college football’s best division getting in.
However, Herbsreit’s ESPN colleague and notable ACC guy Danny Kanell, had differing thoughts.
