Kirk Herbstreit revealed his top performers for Week 6 on Twitter Monday, which includes Tennessee running back Alvin Kamara as his top individual performer.

Kamara led the Vols in both rushing and receiving during Saturday’s 45-38 double-overtime loss at Texas A&M. The junior recorded 127 yards and two touchdowns on 18 rushing attempts and caught eight passes for 161 yards and one touchdown.

Kamara was also responsible for both of Tennessee’s final two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. The former JUCO transfer scored on a 4-yard run with 2:07 remaining before catching an 18-yard pass from Joshua Dobbs to tie the game at 35-35 with 0:41 seconds, which eventually forced overtime.

Kamara started in place of Jalen Hurd, who was ruled out for Saturday’s game prior to kickoff. The two backs have shared reps during the past two seasons, but Hurd has seen the majority of touches.
