ESPN’s Pat McAfee responds to Urban Meyer’s ‘College GameDay’ diss

Urban Meyer’s recent shot at ESPN did not go unnoticed.
Meyer recently discussed his role on FOX as an analyst on the network’s pregame show in an interview with the Big Ten Network. He took a not-so-subtle shot at ESPN’s “College GameDay:”
“I had fun – turns out folks wanna talk about football, they don’t want to see jumpin’ in lakes or goin on rollercoasters”
ESPN analyst Pat McAfee jumped in a river on GameDay in November. While Meyer got his bodies of water wrong, McAfee knew the comment was about him.
I know it can be hard to remember things but it was a river not a lake.
My mom as soon as it happened said “When you were in the air, I started having heart complications OUT OF NOWHERE”
She’s been completely fine ever since.. happy for her.
Anyways, thanks 4 watching Coach. https://t.co/7yjDJAlGIP

Meyer worked at ESPN in 2011, his “spend-more-time-with-my-family” year in between leaving Florida and coaching at Ohio State.
