Tennessee didn’t look very impressive in their 40-14 loss to No. 17 West Virginia on Saturday.
The Mountaineers dropped 547 total yards on the Vols and Heisman-hopeful Will Grier looked dominant, completing 25-of-34 passes for 429 yards and five touchdowns.
The Vols’ struggles on Saturday have their week two opponent thinking upset, and ETSU head coach Randy Sanders shared this week just how ecstatic he would be with a win over Tennessee.
Check out what coach Sanders said during media availability on Monday, courtesy of @WCYB_Heather on Twitter:
Coach Sanders says if @ETSUFootball beats Tennessee he says “I’ll have the goal post over my shoulder, I won’t need the bus, I’ll be walking back.. probably naked” ?

It looks like a week-two loss could be hard for Vol fans to watch for several reasons.
Sanders played quarterback at Tennessee from 1984-1988 and also served as an assistant coach in Knoxville from 1989-2005.
Tennessee and ETSU are scheduled to kick off at 4 PM ET on Saturday.
Jordan Dajani covers SEC football for Saturday Down South and is a University of Tennessee graduate. He also has experience working in the NBA and with ESPN.
