Evan Neal was one of 2 first-round picks for the New York Giants in the 2022 NFL Draft, following edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux.
To start his pro career, the former Alabama star offensive lineman was wearing the No. 70 jersey. But, now, he’s reportedly changed to a more familiar number.
Per Giants reporter Art Stapleton, Neal has switched to the No. 73 jersey, which is the same number he wore at Alabama:

Neal will be expected to anchor the right tackle spot as a rookie this fall. Former Georgia OL Andrew Thomas, another former first-round pick, is slotted in at left tackle.
Can Neal become an impact player right away? If so, the Giants could have a strong offensive line for years to come.
