Alabama is reportedly set to host a Texas A&M edge transfer this weekend.

Junior defensive lineman Fadil Diggs, who was with the Aggies for the past 4 seasons, will be welcomed by the Crimson Tide as he considers the program to be his next destination.

Diggs officially entered the transfer portal on Dec. 6. The junior is coming off a 2023 season in which he had 36 tackles, 4 sacks and 2 pass deflections.

In his 4 seasons with the Aggies, Diggs compiled 75 tackles and 8 sacks.

Diggs was recruited by Texas A&M out of Eastside High School in Camden, N.J. A 4-star recruit, Diggs signed his letter of intent with the Aggies in 2019.

Texas A&M finished its regular season with a 7-5 record. The team will take on No. 20 Oklahoma State in the Texas Bowl on Dec. 27 at 9 p.m. on ESPN.

After a 4-3 start to the season, the Aggies went 3-2 down the stretch to become bowl eligible. Their season included firing coach Jimbo Fisher toward the end of the regular season.

No. 4 Alabama, 12-1 on the season, will face top-seeded Michigan in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day at 5 p.m. on ESPN.
