After receiving attention from nearly every powerhouse program in the country, receiver Trevon Grimes is ready to narrow his list to a select few.
Grimes, currently rated as one of the nation’s top prospects, is down to six schools, three of which are in the SEC: Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Grimes announced the news Monday via his Twitter account:

A 6-foot-3, 202-pound receiver from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Grimes is currently rated as a five-star prospect, the nation’s No. 24 overall recruit and the No. 4 receiver prospect in the nation by 247Sports Composite Ratings. Grimes will be participating against the nation’s elite at next month’s Opening Finals held at Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.
Despite playing for a high school powerhouse in St. Thomas Aquinas, it’s clear Grimes stands out from his fellow teammates on the prep field. Expect the talent receiver to be a matchup nightmare at the next level.
