Five-star recruit JaCoby Stevens updates his recruitment; high on several SEC schools
Heading into the final season of his prep football career, five-star recruit JaCoby Stevens is likely receiving more attention from the nation’s elite football programs then ever before. While Stevens publicly announced his plans to commit in July earlier this week, a new development has occurred in his recruitment.
Monday evening Stevens tweeted out his plans to hold off his commit date and to give an updated top teams list. The tweet read as follows:
“I just want to say thank you to all the people who took the time to look out for my announcement tonight. But tonight I want to show the few adjustments to my top schools. With talking with my family and other close advisers these schools are my top schools but with few still who are not listed I have high interest. Also we’ve decided to change my commitment date to undetermined. Here is the updated list. 1. Clemson, 2. Georgia, 3. Alabama, 4. Auburn, 5. Tennessee, 6. LSU, 7. FSU”

Stevens is currently rated as the No. 1 athlete in the nation and a five-star prospect by 247Sports. The rising senior from Murfreesboro, Tennessee was committed to LSU last season but decommitted in the wake of rumors surrounding head coach Les Miles during the end of the 2015 season.
