Morris held a similar position on Napier’s Louisiana staff the past 2 seasons (2020-21). Morris got into college football coaching after spending 2 seasons playing football overseas (2019-20). He initially played professional baseball after graduating from Morehead State in 2018.
Morris marks the 18th off-field assistant and second defensive quality control hire by Napier for his Florida staff. Napier has also 6 on-field assistant coaches, leaving 4 open on-field positions. Napier is reportedly targeting coaches in the NFL to fill out those remaining spots.
