The 2016 edition of SEC Media Days is set to kick off Monday, essentially kicking off the unofficial start to the college football season. Wednesday the 14 SEC schools officially announced the players scheduled to be in attendance for media availability in Hoover, Ala.
While not every player will get an opportunity to speak with the media during the extravagant media event, one prominent Gator defender found a way around that Wednesday evening, as Florida’s junior cornerback Jalen Tabor plans to hold his own Twitter media day:
In honor of sec media day coming up , I will be answering all questions you fans have shoot them to me on Monday .
— Teez Tabor (@_31Flavorz) July 6, 2016
This may well prove to be more entertaining than the actual events during Monday’s SEC Media Days.
Of course Tabor is notorious for his strong takes, including his thoughts on the shooting death of Alton Sterling, on SEC East rival Tennessee, more on Tennessee as well as his thoughts on “modern forms of slavery” facing today’s college football players.
Let’s hope this Q&A proceeds as scheduled, considering his well-known Twitter takes, it surely won’t disappoint.
