Summerall has not been a major contributor but provides some veteran depth for the Florida defense. A 4-star recruit out of Lakeland (Florida), Summerall signed with UF as part of the 2019 recruiting class. Over the last 3 seasons, Summerall played in 16 games for the Gators, including 11 in 2021. He totaled 8 tackles, including 2 for loss and 1.5 sacks, in those appearances.
Summerall will be listed as a redshirt junior in 2022. He could potentially have 3 remaining seasons of eligibility if he elects to use his extra year from the NCAA’s 2020 COVID waiver.
