Florida continues to add pieces to a top-5 recruiting class for 2024. On Friday, Billy Napier’s program landed another in-state player for the cycle.
The player is Teddy Foster, a cornerback out of Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, Florida. Foster committed to the Gators from a group of finalists that included Miami and North Carolina.

Foster is listed at 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds at the cornerback position. According to the 247 Sports Composite, Foster is a 3-star prospect and the 67th CB in the country for the class of 2024.
The addition of Foster brings Florida up to 20 players in the 2024 recruiting class. That group is currently ranked No. 3 in the country per the 247 Sports Team Composite. Georgia holds the No. 1 overall class in the country while Ohio State is second.
In terms of 5-star prospects, Florida is 1 of just 5 programs with multiple commitments as things currently stand this cycle. We’ll see how Napier and his staff wrap things up, but the Gators are in a great position with fall right around the corner.
