Florida head coach Jim McElwain may be described by some as quirky, eclectic and unintentionally hilarious.

As such, he appears to be a perfect fit for television! ESPN certainly thinks so — as McElwain is slated to join Paul Finebaum’s show “Finebaum Film Room” as a guest analyst for the upcoming National Championship Game between Alabama and Clemson.

Former LSU DL Booger McFarland and Alabama QB Greg McElroy will also be present to make up the group.

McElwain has a fascinating perspective. Not only did he coach at Alabama under head coach Nick Saban, but he’s coached against this Crimson Tide team for two-straight seasons in the SEC Title Game.

One would think he’d be able bestow some real peals of wisdom for those watching on television.
