After the Gators’ Friday Night Lights event this evening, the Florida Gators kept one of its own in James Houston, out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Houston is a three-star outside linebacker, ranking No. 46 nationally at his position according to 247 Sports.

Houston had a number of offers, but chose the Gators over other SEC teams, including Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
