Remember when Florida’s facilities were considered second class in the SEC?
Jim McElwain is changing all of that, and quickly.
In addition to building an indoor practice facility, Coach McElwain announced via Twitter Thursday that Florida is opening new luxury apartments for football players this fall. Here’s the photo:
It’s all about recruiting, and one of the knocks against Florida was its outdated facilities. The luxury apartments feature a full kitchen, a fully furnished living room, two bathrooms and four fully furnished bedrooms.
A graduate of the University of Florida and founder of Saturday Down South, Kevin is a college football enthusiast.
